As you may have noticed, I like making striped jewellery. But in today's tutorial I wanted to show how easy it is to make a striped log. 

For one of my Christmas presents I got a book on the history of beads. I really liked one of the beads on the cover.

These striped cylinder beads look really good in necklaces and are easy to make. The basic process requires a stack of different coloured sheets and this post shows how to make them.

The striped bead tutorial shows how to make a cane out of a polymer clay stack and make them into flattened oval shaped beads. It also shows how to put a colour trim around bead.

I wanted to write a tutorial that would allow a complete beginner to polymer clay to create a piece of jewellery with the minimum of tools and materials, with a professional finish and takes a short time to make.

When I started making jewellery out of clay I found it very easy to make lovely pieces, but it took me a while to figure out how to get a lovely finish on my lovely beads.
